DDC Chairperson Gbl flags-off SRTC Bus service from Manigam & Gutlibagh to Srinagar

Ganderbal, Dec 23: Acceding to the decades-old, overweening demand of the public of Gutlibagh and Manigam, the DDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today flagged-off daily bus service from Gutlibagh and Manigam to Batmaloo Srinagar.

The said bus-service shall ply daily from Gutlibagh and Manigam via Wayil, Nuner and Beehama to Srinagar enabling the people as well as employees and students to avail qualitative public transport facility.

On the occasion, DDC Chairperson lauded the Motor Vehicles Department and JKSRTC for redressing the long pending demand of the public, especially of people living in remote areas of Ganderbal district.

It was further informed that 4 more buses shall also ply on the roads from Tullamulla (CUK), Shairpathri, Batwina-Wakura and Lar to Srinagar within a few weeks time.

Scores of local people and those from adjoining areas on the occasion put forth their issues and demands regarding basic amenities and different services.

Responding to the demands and grievances raised by people, the DDC Chairperson assured that all the issues shall be resolved in a time bound manner.

The DDC Chairperson was accompanied by ARTO Ganderbal, PRIs and other officers and officials of the line departments.
