Bandipora police arrested a Drug Peddler at Aloosa Bandipora, Large quantity of Contraband Substance Charas recovered. Case FIR registered

Bandipora, Dec 15: Bandipora police continuing its war against drug peddlers today arrested a drug peddler at Malangam Aloosa Bandipora and recovered 1.5 Kgs of contraband substance Charas powder.
Police Post Aloosa received an information from reliable sources that at Malangam Bandipora one person namely Abdul Sattar Seer Gojer S/o Jumma Seer Gojer R/o Malangam has kept some Contraband substance Charas in his cowshed near his residential house and the said persons is preparing the said contraband substance for further sale to the youth of the J/D of P P Aloosa to make them drug addicts.
Consquent upon this case FIR No 187/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered at PS Bandipora and investigation taken up.
During the investigation a police party headed by IC P P Aloosa PSI Saqib Hassan under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Bandipora Shri Shafat Mohamad-JKPS and SHO PS Bpr Insp. Zahoor Ahmad along with the Executive Magistrate Ist Class Aloosa raided the spot and during the search a polythene bag containing Charas powder weighing about 1.5kg from the cowshed of the accused person and upon the personal search of the accused person Charas weighing about 30 Gram were recovered.The accused person has been arrested and taken under custody and further investigation is going on. During the preliminary enquiry it came to surface that the said accused person is a notorious drug dealer of the area and is making the youth of J/D of P P Aloosa drugs addicts by selling the said contraband substance.General public of the area have appreciated this timely action of Bandipora police.
