Ex-Servicemen Rally At  Gurez

Srinagar,  Dec 3 :  To address the issues of ESM with an overall aim to keep them abreast with latest schemes, the Indian Army conducted an Ex-Servicemen Rally to reach out to the ESM of Gurez. The ESM rally was attended by Senior Army Officials and via Video Conference was attended by OC Zila Sainik Board Srinagar, Zila Sainik Board Baramulla, Adhoc Zila Sainik Board Bandipore, ECHS Polyclinic Baramulla, SRO JAK LI Records.

During the interaction session, the Ex-Servicemen were acquainted with the various initiatives & schemes undertaken by the Army & State towards their welfare; especially SPARSH scheme for pension sanction & disbursement. They were also made aware of the latest Governmet Policies, Agnipath Scheme and existing education benefits & coaching avenues to enable a structured education for their wards.

Grievances from Ex-Servicemen were noted by all concerned office representatives. A Suvigya Cell was also created for registration & migration to SPARSH to avail various benefits and schemes through PCDA(P), DIAV, Kendriya Sainik Board. Facilities of Medical, Dental Checkup and CSD were also provided. In the end Commander of the Infantry Brigade thanked all the ESMs for their active participation.
