Non-local woman dies after 20 days of marriage in Budgam

House seized,investigation set into motion says police

Budgam, Dec 2 : A non-local woman has died after twenty days of marriage in Nasrullahpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.

A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that one woman identified as Muslimoon (30) a resident of Kolkata who was married to one Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Nasrullah-pora Budgam before 20 days, was found dead on Friday at her husband’s home.

He said that after receiving information about the death of the lady, a team of police was immediately sent on spot as prima facie of the case looks like murder.

The body has been taken for medico-legal formalities and authorities have seized the house where the woman has died and further investigation in the case is going on, he added.
