DC Ganderbal chairs weekly Block Diwas, assures time bound redressal of genuine issues

Ganderbal, Nov 23: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today convened a Weekly Block Diwas here at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal for block Ganderbal.

The Block Diwas witnessed overwhelming response of the PRIs and locals of block Ganderbal. They highlighted their issues ranging from provisions of Basic Amenities like Drinking Water, electricity, Health, Education, road development, besides other issues of public importance.

The DC gave a patient hearing to all issues and grievances raised and assured time bound redressal of genuine issues. He also gave necessary instructions to the concerned departments for ensuring timely and quality disposal of issues raised.

While replying to the issue of unscheduled power cuts, the DC said that necessary instructions are given to the concerned to ensure smooth scheduled electricity supply to all areas of the district as per notified schedule.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said the District Administration is ensuring timely redressal of the genuine demands and a proper mechanism is adopted to ensure transparency and accountability at all levels.

Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, DEO and other District and Sectoral Officers attended the Block Diwas.
