1 killed after fall from rail-bridge

Jammu, Nov 23 : A minor was killed while two others suffered critical injuries when the three fell from a rail-bridge here in the city outskirts in Jammu and Kashmir.


Police sources said that the siblings were playing near the railway track. Reportedly alarmed by an approaching train (Katra-bound), they tried to escape and accidentally fell from the bridge.
One of them identified as Hadia Fatima (11), daughter of Bajalta-resident Rashid, was declared dead when shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while her siblings, Alia Fatima (6) and Mohiuddin (12), were admitted in serious condition.
An investigation is underway.
