Srinagar, Nov 21: A delegation of BJP UT Kargil-Ladakh led by Hon’ble State President Shri Phunchok Stanzin along with Shri Ashok Koul General Secretary (Org), Hon’ble Nominated Councillor and Executive Members today visited Jamia Masjid Hanafia Drass Kargil District where a massive fire broke out at Qadeem Hanfia Jamia Masjid Shareef and spread to cover the entire structure in a flash, burning it down completely .
The leaders expressed deep sorrow and sympathy with the committee of oldest Hanafia Masjid Drass and the people of Drass Sub Division. The delegation assured The masjid committe of all possible support from the party and told them masjid to be reconstructed soon. They also assured that a fire station will be set up in the Sub-Division.
