69th Cooperative Week celebration held at Rainawari, Srinagar

Speakers raise awareness among participants regarding benefits of Cooperative schemes

Srinagar, Nov 15: In the wake of 69th All India Cooperative Week being celebrated from 14th November to 20th November, the office of Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, Srinagar along with the Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, block Srinagar today orgainsed an event at the Zind Shah Stadium Rainawari, here.

The commemorative event was organised in collaboration with Srinagar JK CSC VLE Cooperative and with Rainawari Traders Federation.

The occasion was attended by large gathering of locals, various official dignitaries of district Srinagar along with Cooperative department employees of the district.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Registrar Srinagar, Mushtaq Ahmad Makhdoomi put special emphasis on the public Awareness regarding the Cooperatives and advantages thereof besides the growth of Cooperatives and future ahead.

He also briefed and educated the cooperators regarding various schemes where general masses can take advantage and can get benefitted from these Cooperative schemes like FPO’s/ Dairy/ Mushroom/ Pickels/ Vegetables Cooperatives  etc.

Several other speakers also spoke on the occasion and apprised the gathering about the benefits under various Cooperative schemes.
