3rd Kashmir Gold Cup Taekwondo held at SK Indoor Stadium Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 15: The 3rd Kashmir Gold Cup Taekwondo was today organized by National Sports Club in collaboration with J&K Sports Council at SK Indoor Stadium Srinagar.

The players from Jammu and Kashmir and outside the UT participated in the event that was also live telecasted on Doordarshan Kendra New Delhi.

Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Abid Hussain was the chief guest. Among other dignitaries, Chairman Youth Hostel Association of India was present.

Additional Commissioner Kashmir on the occasion interacted with the players and thanked them for their participation in different events. Some of the National and International players won Gold Medals and some players received Silver medals.

The Kashmir Gold Cup Technical Director, Rakesh Kumar who has remained Technical Director for many events across the world while expressing his views said that he has for the first time seen a Taekwondo trophy with gold for which he congratulated all the members of National Sports Club.

The National Sports Club’s Secretary, Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani thanked the participating players along with all the officials, organizers of the events.
