Alternate means of career advancement imperative for youth empowerment:  Slathia

Vijaypur, Nov 10:Former minister and Pradesh BJP Vice President  Surjeet Singh Slathia today described alternate means of career advancement imperative for youth empowerment, saying the visionary government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given big impetus to entrepreneurship besides drawing a roadmap for providing a million jobs during one year.

“Apart from making a good living in a business proposition, entrepreneurs can draw satisfaction in generating jobs for skilled and unskilled workforce”,  Slathia said while inaugurating an establishment in the pharmaceutical sector here this afternoon.

The former minister said that entrepreneurship could be a viable option, not only for self-sustenance and growth, but for generating jobs as well. It is better to be a job provider than a job seeker, he said, adding that drive and initiative among youth in establishing profit generating units could be the answer to burgeoning unemployment. Entrepreneurship assumes immense significance in an era when the aspirational youth have a lot of opportunities to grow, he added.

Slathia hoped that a positive approach and progressive vision in the private sector can be beneficial to society. It is an ethical responsibility of the entrepreneurs to ensure supply of credible products at affordable prices. Credulity is a huge investment in the business sector and those engaged in entrepreneurship should understand it for having harmonious relationships with clientele, he maintained.

Lauding the initiative of Rishav Thappa of Devraj Pharmaceutical, Slathia wished him all the best in his endeavours and stressed upon generating jobs for young people in the area. Such initiatives are bound to have a positive impact on the economic activities, he said, adding that entrepreneurship is a tool for youngsters pursuing careers in business creation.

The proprietor of the establishment dwelt upon the initiative and said in the beginning several youth have got jobs in the establishment.
