Weekly Block Diwas :DC Ganderbal convenes Grievance Redressal camp at Lar

Ganderbal, Nov 9: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today convened a Grievance Redressal Camp at Boys High School Lar for block Lar ,as part of weekly Block Diwas programme.

The camp was attended by DDC member Lar, Sarpanchse, Panches and locals of block Lar who apprised the DC about various issues pertaining to their areas and sought his intervention for timely redressal of the grievances.

On the occasion, the locals and PRI members raised various demands and issues like upgradation of High School Theeru, development of Zeyarat Sharief Waliwar, Sumo service for Waliwar, infrastructure development in schools, development of Dragbal and Mohan Marg, upgradation of water and power infrastructure, ambulance service at PHC Waliwar, Middle School for Anderwan Halqa and other issues of public importance.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said the District Administration is ensuring timely redressal of the genuine demands and a proper mechanism is adopted to ensure quality and early redressal of issues so that people may not suffer. He further maintained that feedback will be shared with the people regarding the issues and demands raised in earlier Block Diwas proceedings so that people are aware about the action taken on the issues and demands raised by them.

Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, ACD, Tehsildar Lar, CEO, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and other District and Sectoral Officers attended the Block Diwas.
