DC Gbl inspects Sale Centre Repora

Ganderbal, Nov 5: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today visited the sale centre Repora Lar along with Assistant Director FCS&CA and other officials to assess its functioning.

The visit was carried out as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under which the Department of Food Civil Supplies and Public Distribution is undertaking an initiative of visit to FPS by senior officers.

On the occasion, the DC took appraisal of the working of the sale center and availability of food grains including supporting staff, monitoring of online distribution, quality of Food grains and consumer satisfaction which are key parameters to assess the overall functioning of the sale center. He also assessed the infrastructure requirements and grievance redressal.

Meanwhile, the DC interacted with the beneficiaries present there and enquired about the facilities being provided at the Fair Price Shop. He directed the officials to serve the consumers in a better and a professional manner so that they do not face any difficulty besides quality ration shall be distributed among the consumers.
