Srinagar, Nov 1:Gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Khandipora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
In a tweet Kashmir Zone Police wrote, ” Encounter started at Khandipora, Awantipora area of Pulwama district. Awantipora Police & Army (55 RR) are on the job. Further details shall follow,”.
Pertinently another gunfight is underway in Simthan area of Bijbhera in Anantnag district.
