SDM Kangan chairs Introductory Meeting

Ganderbal, Oct 21: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kangan, Javid Ahmed Rather today chaired an introductory meeting of Sectoral officers/Officials from Line Departments of Sub division Kangan where several aspects pertaining to overall socio-economic development were comprehensively discussed.

While interacting with the participants the SDM stressed on providing hassle free public services by strengthening accountability, transparency and Punctuality in offices. He added that effective public service delivery and robust grievance redressal mechanism is fundamental to the good governance architecture.

 

He stressed to ramp up the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated time period. Moreover, he urged upon the concerned officers to identify the bottlenecks, if any and bring them into his notice so that they are sorted out as early as possible.  He also directed all the sectoral officers to remain full prepared for the upcoming winter and keep their men and Machinery in state of readiness.

 

Meanwhile, SDM sought cooperation from the concerned officers/ officials for developing the Sub division from different perspectives pertaining to developmental concerns. He added that his focus shall remain on providing efficient and prompt public services besides establishing a vigor and effective grievance redressal mechanism.

 

SDM also emphasized for working with zeal and dedication while discharging official duties with people centric approach.
