Jammu, Oct 8 : To mark the 90th Air Force Day, the Air Force Station here on Saturday inaugurated a conference hall dedicated to the late Ft Lt Advitiya Bal.
The ‘Bal Conference Hall’ was inaugurated by his mother Praveen Kumari and father and Sub Maj Swaran Bal in the presence of Air Commodore G S Bhullar, Ruhi Bhullar (President AFWWA) along with the Principal of Sainik School at Nagrota.
The first video call in the conference room was made between the parents at Jammu with the Commanding Officer and officers of Fighter Squadron at Utarlai (Flt Lt Bal’s squadron).
Flt Lt Advitiya Bal, born in July 1996 in Jammu, died on July 28 this year while flying a Battle Inoculation Training mission on a Mig-21 Type 69 trainer aircraft.
