Monthly District Coordination meeting held in Ganderbal

DDC directs for quality and timely redressal of grievances

Ganderbal, Oct: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired the Monthly District Coordination meeting here at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

During the meeting threadbare discussions was held on deliverables of district, redressal of grievances received on JKIGRAMS, Time Limit Grievances, besides status of Special Summary Revision, status of Tourist Villages, printing of land passbooks and JJM certification.

On the occasion, the DDC sought status of redressal of grievances department wise received on JKIGRAMS and grievances raised during weekly Block Diwas.

while reviewing the redressal of grievances, the DDC took strong note of long pending grievances and passed strict directions to the concerned HODs to ensure quality and timely disposal of grievances received both online and offline.

The meeting also discussed inter departmental issues to ensure better coordination among all the departments at all levels for smooth functioning and quality disposal of issues of general public.

Meanwhile, the meeting also discussed the status of ongoing Special Summary Revision in the district and was informed that over 40 percent target is achieved till date. The DDC directed the AEROs to expedite the process so that target is achieved in stipulated timeframe.

The DDC also reviewed the status of facilities being put in place in tourist villages and status of printing of land passbooks for which he gave necessary instructions to the concerned departments.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, CPO, ACR, Dy. DEO, Executive Engineers of various wings besides other district officers.
