Army organises pre medical examination for female aspirants

Ramban, Oct 4: In continuation to its mission for empowering the women from the remote areas, the Indian Army  organised a Pre Medical Examination for female Agniveer aspirants, (who desire to be enrolled as an Agniveers through Agnipath Scheme), was organised by the Indian Army with assistance from SDH,  Banihal at Bn HQ.

With the aim to assist local girls towards providing legitimate and Nobel employment opportunities, the event was in tune with the regular training being imparted to the aspirants. As many as 16 female candidates attended the pre-medical examination. The event astonishingly reciprocated in and around the region which further motivated more female aspirants to become part of the Armed Forces

The response & participation of the aspirants during the event reflected the strong bond between the Indian Army & the Awam. The initiative by the Indian Army for empowering the women to become future Agniveers was very well received and appreciated by the locals.
