Patrolling intensified after kids kidnapping gang rumours, says Jammu SSP

Jammu, Sep 30 :Clarifying the rumours of a gang kidnapping children operating in the city, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandan Kohli on Friday said no such incident has been reported so far anywhere from the district but Jammu Police have intensified the patrolling.


“There are rumours that a gang kidnapping school children is operating in Jammu but, I want to clarify that no such incident has been reported in the jurisdiction of any police station of the district,” said the SSP in a video message circulated on the social media.


He said, “if anybody notices any suspicious activity or person, should immediately inform the nearby police station.”
“We have enhanced our patrolling especially around schools and public cooperation is also welcomed,” he added.
