Shopian, Sep 28 :Health department today observed world anti rabies day at different health institutions across the district. The day was also observed at Paramedical Colleges and MC Shopain.
The programmes was organised by District Surveillance Unit Shopian under the theme “One health, zero Death” and the main objective of the programmes was to provide awareness among all inhabitants of shopian regarding the preventive and curative measures adopted against the disease.
The program was also attended by the dignitaries from State Surveillance office Srinagar who provided valuable information to the participants against the said disease.
Besides, master trainers/ Resource persons santitised the paramedical staff , vaccinators regarding the route as well as dosage of the vaccination to the dog bitten patients.
