J&K Postal Circle introduces RTN between Srinagar & Leh

Jammu, Sep 22 :The Department of Posts, Jammu and Kashmir Circle is launching Leh-Srinagar Road Transport Network Service from Friday to provide daily, regular and reliable parcel connectivity to the people in the region.
The Road Transport Network is operated by Department of Posts to provide end to end, secure transportation to parcels across the country.


It was introduced in the country in 2019. Both Leh and Srinagar are important tourist locations and economic hotspots. The launch of Leh-Srinagar service will help businessmen, craftsmen, artisans, MSME units and others in connecting their products with their markets both within the country and abroad.
It will also benefit the local administration in ensuring smooth and regular supply of essential commodities, medical and other equipment, books etc to the people of Ladakh.
