Says killed Militants were involved in killing two cops, a Grenade Lobbing Incident
Srinagar, Sep 7:Police on Wednesday said that two Local militants of outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind were killed in a “Chance” Encounter in Tajiwara in Bijbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
While quoting ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, The Kashmir Police Zone in a tweet wrote, ” Killed militants identified as Fayaz Kumar & Owais Khan linked with militant outfit AGuH. They were involved in several militant attacks including attack on police personnel in Cheeniwooder Srigufwara on 03-07-2022 in which 01 police personnel Firdous Dar got seriously injured and Darashikoh park Bijbehara on 12-08-2022 in which one police personnel Gh Qadir got seriously injured. Besides involved in grenade lobbing at Padshahibagh on 15-06-2022,”.
Pertinently, two Hizb militants were killed yesterday in Bijbhera area in a gunfight.
