Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu visits Natipora ward to take stock of civil works

Srinagar, Sep 1 :Mayor Srinagar  Junaid Azim Mattu today visited Natipora area to take stock of developmental works in the area.
He was accompanied by concerned Corporator   Aijaz Ahmed Bhat and various senior Officers of Corporation including Joint Commissioner Works, Executive Engineer Left River Works and other officers .
He visited  old Natipora lane  and passed on directions to the concerned to prepare an   estimate for macdamisation of the lane at an earliest ao that there shall be no delay in execution of work.
Mayor also  visited   Khalid Bin Waleed  Colony in Natipora   where he interacted with the locals.
The locals of the area discussed and put forth their several issues regarding the drainage facility and macdamisation of in various lanes of the said Colony.
Mattu assured them that all their genuine demands particularly with regard to providing of drainage facility , macdamisation of various lanes and providing street lights as required will be taken care of.
Mayor on the occasion also  took an extensive tour to the Harnambal Colony.
The directions were passed to the sanitation  wing for providing of hopper  vehicle  services for lifting of garbage on alternate days with an extensive sanitation drive in the entire Colony.
He also visited Zaffar Colony to take stock of various developmental works and passed on directions to the concerned  with regard to the development of play ground including  the installation  of high mast lights  for which Mattu passed on directions  that  matter needs to be taken with the Secretary Sports council.
He also visited a community centre  in the area and passed on several directions  on the occasion with regard to its proper and smooth functionality.
Directions were also passed on for proper  upgradation of a Ration Ghat  at Harinambal Natipora and one toilet block constructed by SMC at site.
