625 Grams of Heroine Like Substance Recovered In Uri, Two Held Police

Srinagar, August 26: Police along with army on Friday arrested two drug peddlers along with 625 grams of Heroine like substance at Suktan Daki area of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a handout to GNS, the police said that During naka checking at Sultan Daki Uri, Police arrested 02 drug peddlers namely Mohd Safeer and Mohd Saleem Sons of Feroz Ali Khokhar residents of Madiyan Kamalkote Uri and recovered 652 grams of Herion like substance from their possession.

 

According to police spokesman, a case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion.

General People of Kamalkote & its surrounding areas hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of Drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship, he said.

People are requested to come forward with information regarding Drug Peddlers of their areas so that drug menace can be eradicated from the society, reads the statement.
