District Administration chairs mega grievance redressal camp at Kangan

Ganderbal, Aug 24: District Administration Ganderbal today held grievance redressal camp as a part of weekly block Diwas here at Govt. Degree College Kangan which was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner, Khurshid Ahmad Shah.

During the programme, PRI members and locals raised demands of

their areas including augmentation of water and power supply, better road

connectivity, Solid Waste Management, Medicare facility, and various other issues related to day to day life.

 

The people in large numbers interacted with the officers and officials of different departments and apprised them of the issues and demands of their respective areas.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that the main aim of conducting such programs is to ensure service delivery and grievances redressal mechanism at the door steps.

During the proceedings of Block Diwas, Tehsil, Block and District level officers remained available to hear the public grievances for there on the spot redress as per their competence.

The ADDC directed the concerned officers and officials of different departments to play a proactive role in fulfilling developmental requirements of public.

Among others, DDC Member Kangan-A, Chairman BDC Kangan, ACD Ganderbal, Tehsildar Kangan, BDO Kangan, Panchs and Sarpanchs and other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
