25-yr-old girl drowns to death in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Aug 20: A 25-year-old girl died after drowning in a power canal in her native village at Gutlibagh in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on late Friday evening.

An official while confirming told that the girl identified as Shagufta had drowned in a power Canal in her native village.

He said that the body of the girl was retrieved from power canal by SDRF team late last night after hectic efforts.
