Jammu, Aug 20 :Two children were killed when a mud house collapsed due to heavy rains in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police on Saturday said that heavy rains triggered landslide in village Samole of Mittal area.
“Two children killed when a mud house collapsed due to landslides,” they said adding that rescue teams after getting information rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies from the debris.
The deceased kids were identified as Arif,3, and Ghani,2, children of Billa, resident of District Udhampur.
Police handed over the bodies to the parents after legal formalities.
