CEO’s irresponsible statement creates chaos in J&K: Muzaffar Beigh

GoI must come clear, will attend APM if invited

Srinagar, Aug 19: Former Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Baig on Friday lashed out at Chief Electoral Officer J&K for what he said an irresponsible statement made by him during a news conference.
Addressing a news conference, Baig, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that CEO’s statement has created chaos in Jammu and Kashmir. “I think he has made the statement about new voters in J&K out of his hand and has ripped apart the constitution,” he said.
Baig said the government of India should come clear over the issue.
Asked about the all Party meeting on Monday, Beigh said that he will attend if he is invited.
A senior politician told KNO that there is no question of inviting Baig. “Why should we invite him ? We all know how he stopped Kashmir politicians from raising Article 370 issue during an all – party meeting held in 2021, ” he said—(KNO)
