Ashraya Hastha Trust Along With Suriya Foundation & Indian Army Celebrates Independence Day At Loc

Srinagar, Aug 14: The 75th Independence Day is being called as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav & it is an initiative by the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.

As a part of this Mahotsav Ashraya Hastha trust which is a philanthropic organisation run by one of the cofounder of Infosys Mr. K Dinesh & Family. The organisation has done various charitable activities in various sectors like rural empowerment, health, education, women empowerment, emergency response. As a part of this continued efforts towards nation building and serving the society, this time the trust in order to commemorate the 75th independence day ( Aazadi ki Amrit Mahotsav) is focused on developing the villages along the line of control in Jammu and kashmir.

Ashraya Hastha trust in collaboration with Suriya Foundation is working actively with 56 Rashtriya Rifles in Macchal to increase employment opportunities, quality of education, better equipments for hospitals & more than 100 sewing machines and several carpentry tools and carpet making machines will be donated to people in the border villages along the line of control. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life of people living in the villages along line of control thereby providing employment opportunities to the people. The beneficiaries of this programme are the youth, Students & Women of Macchal Sector.

Indian Army has played a vital role in bringing up these villages along the LOC. To ensure that people living near the border aren’t left behind these special programmes are necessary.
