Srinagar, Aug 11: A heart-warming gesture from the brothers of Bogra Brigade in Rajasthan who remembered their brothers fighting in the valley by sending across Rakhis on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. These Rakhis were not just a remembrance but also a depiction of solidarity within the armed forces.
It was even more heartening that, the local population of Handwara town in the valley volunteered to tie these Rakhis to the soldiers of various forces to include the Indian Army, CRPF, JKP Special Operations Group and the local Police. The Soldiers returned this gesture by giving a small token of remembrance and a promise to protect them always.
