Schools will ignite engine of J&K’s overall development, economic growth: LG

Srinagar, Aug 10: Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that schools will ignite the engine of J&K’s overall development and economic growth.

While inaugurating multiple key initiatives of education sector, he said 84 School Buildings, NIELIT courses, State Mentoring Project, Talash App, pre-primary classes and Atal tinkering labs, as recommended by NEP 2020, will strengthen early childhood care, education and skill ecosystem.

“Schools will ignite the engine of J&K’s overall development and economic growth. Our effort is to ensure all the schools are maintaining academic standards, empowering young students to develop experimental skills, exposing them to exciting innovations,” he said as per GNS, adding, “Our effort of ensuring access, equity, quality and outcome-oriented quality education for all, also focuses on knowledge and values, development of emotional quotient and intelligence quotient to help the child to grow into well-balanced personality.”
