Burglars Loot Cash, Gold in Parimpora

Srinagar,09-Aug; Burglars barged into a residential house and looted gold ornaments, cash and other household items worth Lakhs in Parimpora.
As per the reports, the burglars entered into the house of Abdul Rahim Mir at Bus stand Parimpora on 7th August during broad day light and stole gold ornaments worth eight lakhs and thirteen thousand cash.
The incident took place when there was no family member at home as they had gone to attend the condolence meet.
However, soon after reaching home after few hours, the family members found everything stolen and approached the concerned Police Station.
On being contacted by CNS,SHO Parimpora Police station, Sajad Ahmad while assuring prompt action, said that they have got few clues and hopefully the culprits will be nabbed soon
A case under FIR No.177 of 2022 under Section 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code was registered in this regard.
Notably, burglars are on prowl in the area as they struck in several houses during the past days and decamped with valuables and goods.
