DDC Chairperson Ganderbal kick-starts blacktopping of roads

Ganderbal, Aug 6: The District Development Council Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today inaugurated blacktopping work of Benhama Bagahander and Rampora Saloora roads, here.

The DDC Chairperson assured the people of overall development of far flung areas while kick-starting the black-topping work of a road strip in Benhama Bagahander adding that connecting every village with good roads is her priority.

She while inaugurating the blacktopping work of Rampora Bagoo road said that it was a long pending demand of the area which has been fulfilled now.

During interaction with the people of Benhama and Rampora, the DDC Chairperson took stock of their problems and issues. After listening patiently to their grievances, she assured them of taking up their issues with the concerned authorities and getting the same resolved at the earliest.

Reiterating her commitment towards ensuring overall development, Nuzhat said that rural and far-off areas shall receive focused attention. She assured that besides development of the area she will ensure that the benefits of various schemes meant for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and needy reach the doorsteps of the people in these areas.
