Mumbai, July 28 :The Rupee on Thursday jumped 12 paise to 79.77 against the USD in opening trade due to selling of the greenback by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit improved in early trade due to a weak Dollar against other world currencies.
The Rupee unit registered the days high and low at 79.75 and 79.84 respectively against the US Dollar, dealers
added.
