Elderly Woman Killed in Bear Attack in Anantnag

Srinagar, July 28 : A 50-year-old woman was killed in a bear attack in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this afternoon, officials said.

They told GNS that one Zaiba Bano wife of Abdul Rehman Chopan, resident of Frehmoo Gadool was attacked by the wild animal while she was outside her home. She sustained grievous injuries in the attack and succumbed subsequently after, they added.

Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed to GNS about the death of the elderly woman.
