Srinagar, July 27 :Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu visited Sanat Nagar area today. He was accompanied by Corporator Ward 14 Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Dar, Joint Commissioner Works SMC, Executive Engineer LRWD SMC and other senior officers of SMC.
During the tour, Mattu met with several delegations who put forth their grievances before him. In response Mattu directed the concerned officers to redress the grievances of the general public within shortest possible time.
During the tour Mattu visited Temple at Housing Colony Sanat Nagar where he has directed the concerned officers to make special sanitation drive of the temple and also depute grass cutting machines to crop the extra growing grass.
Mayor also passed directions to Joint Commissioner Works to get necessary estimates prepared for repairing of Bund at Sanat Nagar and tiling of walking path so that necessary developmental works could be started as soon as possible.
Mattu also directed the concerned officer to install street lights at Sanat Nagar Bund Road.
