Budgam,27-July; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole along with other district officers on Wednesday visited Markazi imam bara Budgam to take stock of arrangements for the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.
During tour, the Div Com took stock of the arrangements being put in place for hassle-free conduct of majalis and processions during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Harram.
During the visit, various public delegations and local auqaf committee members called upon the Div Com and raised their demands with him.
He directed the officers to ensure all the required arrangements including restoration and installation of street lights, uninterrupted electricity, sanitation drives, cleaning drives and water supply in all areas.
