Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration At Kamkari, Machhal

 Srinagar, July 26 :Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by the troops and residents of Kamkari to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil war. As part of the celebration, a documentary was screened showcasing the epic battles of Tololing and Tiger Hill.

A total of 30 children and 50 adults attended the program. A quiz competition was also conducted for the children of Upper Primary School, Kamkari which was followed by a variety of programs and games.

This day is observed every year to pay homage to hundreds of Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for this nation. The Kargil war is indeed a symbol of valor and discipline of our security forces.
