Class 4th student wins gold medal at National Level Karate Championship,Chatisgad 

Anantnag,July 26:- Arhan Ashraf , son of Mohd Ashraf Mir, a 4th class student at Smart kids Achabal hailing from Shelipora Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag won a gold medal in National Level Karate Championship held at Chatisgad.
Arhan was among five students selected from Anantnag to participate at National Level Karate Championship.
While talking to our correspondent, Arhan said that all the credit for his win went to his parents as well as his coach,Rayees Ahmad who provided him with the platform to achieve the goal. Arhan sending a message to the youth said that the young generation must participate in such sports events and keep away from evils like drug addiction.
His coach Rayees Ahmad and Chairman Smart Kids School Shakir Rasool, said that it was a proud moment for the family and not only the Anantnag district but it was proud movement of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh. He said that his students had worked hard since the beginning and that he got the fruit by the grace of Almighty Allah.
Rayees said that nearly 2,000 children from 26 states participated in playing karate at the national level, in which 65 children from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh participated, and among these 65 children, Arhan Ashraf was the only child who won gold and another two students Ziya Iqbal and Ozair Imtiyaz got Silver and Bronze Medals while playing karate at national level.
He said that it is necessary that the younger generation gets engaged in sports activities. He also added that the elders should encourage the young to participate in sports.
In this regard,school management facilitated Arhan Ashraf and his team by organising a party for him. Arhan and his team was also awarded a trophy at the event.
