J&K reports 383 fresh positive cases, 452416 recovered

Srinagar, July 25: The Government today informed that 383fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 146from Jammu division and 237 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 460558.


Moreover, 243 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 157 from Jammu division and 86 from Kashmir division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 460558 positive cases, 3379 are Active Positive ( 1715 in Jammu Division and 1664 in Kashmir Division), 452416 have recovered and 4763 have died; 2337 in Jammu division and 2426 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 26043186 test results available, 460558samples have tested positive and 25582628 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 10,008 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 6600757 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 363persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3379in isolation and 462in home surveillance. Besides, 6591492 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 98 cases, Srinagar reported 105 cases, Udhampur reported 17cases,Baramulla reported 60 cases, Samba and Shopian reported 02 cases each, Kathua and Bandipora reported 06cases each, Rajouri reported 19 cases, Kishtwar reported 03 cases, Doda reported 01 case, Pulwama reported 13cases,Budgam reported 10 cases, Kupwara reported 09 cases, Anantnag reported 25 cases, Kulgam reported 07 cases while as no other district reported any fresh case for today.
