Budgam,July 21:In connection with the forthcoming holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram, Police in Budgam facilitated a coordination meeting with the prominent respectables of Shia community in Beerwah area of Budgam.
The meeting was held at PS Beerwah and was chaired by SDPO Magam Shri Mohammad Saleem-JKPS alongwith SHO PS Beerwah.
During the meeting, discussions were held on various public issues regarding Muharram arrangements and threadbare discussions were held on various aspects of arrangements including ensuring proper traffic management and other issues related to Police. The chairing officer assured full assistance from Police during the Muharram days.
The participants in the meeting also assured their full co-operation to Police and appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating such interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.“`
