Srinagar, July 20 : An elderly man was killed when he was mowed down by a train in South Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.
A railway official said that a man died on the spot when he was crushed to death by a train near south Kashmir’s Panzgam-Bijbehara section.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Afazal Banduna of village Pulwama.
He said that the body was later shifted by railway police to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
