Case Registered Against Director JSS Kupwara for ‘Cheating and Dishonesty’

Srinagar, July 19 : A case was on Tuesday registered against JSS Kupwara for ‘cheating and dishonesty’, official sources said.

They told GNS that a complaint was received by district police Kupwara from a Delhi-based NGO ‘ANHAD’, alleging therein Director JSS Kupwara Iqbal Najar of cheating and dishonesty. “The police acting on the complaint registered an FIR vide number 0177/2022 under section 420 IPC against the person for due proceedings”, the sources said.

A senior police officer has also confirmed to GNS about the registration of a case against the said person.

Notably, JSS Project of GoI is operational in Kupwara with ANHAD (Act Now for Harmony and Democracy) as its parental organisation.
