Review meeting regarding developmental work under the Chairmanship of SMC Commissioner

Srinagar, July 18 :A Review meeting regarding progress of developmental works was taken under the Chairmanship of Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan.

During the course of meeting the progress of major projects including   construction of modern Abattoir at Aluchi bagh, Establishment of Animal Rehabilitation centre at Zakura,  construction of foot bridge at Mehjoor Nagar, Development of Mechanical workshop at JAKLI yard Haft Chinar and other projects was taken extensively by Commissioner SMC.
The physical financial status of works under various schemes/ programs were also taken in the meeting
The progress of works under Capex from both Left and Right River Works Division were also taken  during the course of meeting.
He also reviewed the projects approved under city grants in both Left and Right Division at length.
The works under Capex sub division wise including Brane, Illahi bagh, Islamabad, Batamaloo, Jawahar Nagar   was also reviewed .
Commissioner on the occasion impressed upon the concerned Officers to meet the deadlines that have been fixed for completion of various works and also to tender out the works that needs to be tendered out.
He said that he  will be taking weekly review  of all the works both major and other projects ward wise to see the weekly  progress along with the photographic evidences.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineers of Right River Works, left River works,  Planning wing, Exens from city Drainage and others.
