2 Persons Critically Injured in Kupwara Road Accident

Kupwara, July 18: Two persons were critically injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday afternoon.

Reports reaching GNS said that an accident took place between ‘Load Carrier’ bearing registration number JK01AA- 5970 and Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01L- 8627 at Suhipora area of Hayhama resulting in serious injuries to two persons. The duo was immediately shifted to Sub-district hospital Kupwara for treatment from where they were referred to a Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.

The injured persons have been identified as Habibullah Qureshi son of Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and Bashir Ahmad War son of Ghulam Hassan War – both residents of Batpora Hayhama.

Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard.
