J&K Bank MD & CEO visits AIIMS in Jammu

Jammu, July 13: J&K Bank MD & CEO Baldev Prakash today paid a visit to the upcoming All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jammu and met with the Director of Institute, Dr Shakti Gupta along with other senior functionaries of the hospital.

Bank’s Zonal Head (Jammu) Rajesh Dubey accompanied MD & CEO besides other officials of the Bank.

While expressing gratitude to the Director AIIMS and his team for a warm welcome, MD & CEO Baldev Prakash underscored the importance of Union Government’s initiative of establishing such premier institution of national importance for public healthcare in Jammu.

He said that the Bank shared the core organisational values of the AIIMS, which is to serve the people with commitment and dedication while striving for excellence in the institutional functioning. “We shall continue to provide state-of-the-art banking facilities and world class financial services to people in the country especially in J&K and Ladakh”, he added.

On the occasion, Dr Shakti Gupta thanked Bank’s MD & CEO for the visit and appreciated his concerns for the public welfare. While acknowledging the systemic significance of J&K Bank in the UT of J&K, he commended the Bank’s role in socio-economic well-being of the people in the country.

During the interaction, various issues related to banking requirements of the hospital staff and facilities for patients, visitors were discussed and both the sides agreed to engage further for mutual development of the institutions besides well-being of the people of J&K.
