DIG SKR Anantnag, SSP Kulgam Visit Family of Slain ASI Mushtaq Ahmad in Kulgam

Kulgam, July 13 : “Continuing its efforts to reach out the families of personnel laying their lives on duty and to remember the sacrifices of police personnel, several police officers on Wednesday visited the family of slain ASI Mushtaq Ahmad”, said a police spokesman in a statement issued here.

“The DIG SKR Anantnag Abdul Jabbar, SSP Kulgam Dr GV.Sundeep Chakravarthy alongwith DySP HQR and SHO Kulgam visited the family of ASI Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Shouch, Kulgam who laid down his life yesterday at Lal Bazar Srinagar while performing his duties in safeguarding the peace, stability and integrity of the nation”, reads the statement as per GNS.

“Officers expressed their sympathy and prayed for eternal peace of departed soul and assured the family members that every possible help and support to the family will be provided by the department of J&K police.”

“The family of the slain policeman expressed gratitude and happiness for the Police department for the empathetic gesture”, concluded the statement.
