Parents must appeal to their militant sons to shun the path of violence: IGP Kashmir

Says today two lives were saved during live encounter with the help of parents and security forces

Srinagar, July 06: Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Wednesday urged parents of militants to appeal their sons to shun the path of violence and join back into mainstream.

 

Taking on to the micro-blogging Twitter, the Kashmir Zone while quoting IGP Kashmir tweeted, “If every parent appeal to their militant sons to shun the path of violence, whether they are trapped during live encounters or have joined the militancy, many lives can be saved as in today’s encounter two lives were saved”.

Pertinently two Local LeT militants surrendered after parents and security forces appealed them to surrender during live encounter at Hadigam area of Kulgam district.
