Srinagar, July 4 :The Kargil Victory Flame was received at Shalateng Garrison today. The Victory Flame was escorted by serving Army Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Other Ranks, Ex Servicemen, School Children and Teachers of Army Goodwill School Hanzik, in a Victory March.
The Victory Flame was thereafter taken to the Shalateng War Memorial for a Guard of Honor and Wreath Laying ceremony, where General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo), Station Commander, Veteran & Students laid wreath and paid their proud tributes to the Kargil War Heroes.
