Poonch, July 2 :Authorities on Saturday sealed seven private dental clinics, three private laboratories and one X-Ray lab in Mendhar area of this district for running either without registration or their registration having been expired.
Block Medical Officer Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan along with Naib Tehsildar Mendhar Mukesh Singh sealed the clinics. The clinics were also not registered with the State Pollution Control Board and were not adopting the biomedical wastage norms, official sources Said
These clinics were not displaying any rate list of various procedures and tests, they said.
The dental clinics sealed include Star Dental clinic Mendhar, Advance Dental Health Care, , Abdullah Dental Clinic and Treatwell Dental Clinic. The private laboratories sealed includes V Care Diagnostic Laboratory, Micron Clinical Laboratory and Public Diagnostic Laboratory and One X Ray Namely Khan Digital
BMO Mendhar told GNS that the drive against illegal clinics will continue and no one will be allowed to function without registration.
