Handwara, June 29 : Two drug peddlers have been arrested along with narcotic substance in Kralgund area of Handwara, police said here on Wednesday.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), today a police party of Police Station Kralgund while on naka checking duty at Ananwan crossing on Kralgund-Ashpora road stopped one vehicle bearing.
The statement reads that the persons in the vehicle were identified as Feroze Ah Bhat S/o Mohamad Shaban Bhat and Arshid Ah Bhat S/o Mohamad Abdullah Bhat—both residents of Langate.
“On their search around 106 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from their possession.”
It added that a case FIR No. 47/2022 U/S 8/20, 29 NDPS stands registered in PS Kralgund and vehicle used for commission of crime has also been seized.
